Song Lyric 101 – Five Years

Few weeks ago, someone asked me to write a song lyric but it wasn’t accepted because my song lyric was out of the subject. 😀

So, I wanna share this with you. And oh, if you like to make this a song, let me know, I’ll be so happy hearing that… even if it wasn’t accepted it will still alive. Haha!

Five Years

Time runs so fast
It’s been five years since you say goodbye
Five years waiting for you to knock my door
And will tell me “I love you and I can’t let you go”

But time runs so fast
It’s already five years in weeping my tears
Five years sleeping alone in an empty sheet
Only memories of you remain in my lonely bed
What spell you sprinkled on my life?
And baby why with this five years runs
My heart remained chained in a blurry chance
That someday you will knock my door
And will tell me “I love you and I can’t let you go”

Time runs so fast
It’s been five years since you say goodbye
Five years waiting for you to knock my door
And will tell me “I love you and I can’t let you go”

How this time runs so fast?
If within this five years’ pain is still fresh
Your words of farewell still running all over my flesh
Please teach me baby if how to let you go
Because within this five years past
I am still tempted to knock your door
And will tell you “baby, I still love you…
…and I can’t let you go”

Oh, Baby, I miss you…
For the whole five years pasts…
